SUGGESTED INSTALLATION NOTES: For best results and low VSWR we suggest that the matching unit is mounted HIGH up like over a branch of a tree or top of a fibre glass pole/mast (not metal) and then slope or horizontally feed the wire outwards keeping the end insulator at least 2 mtrs above the ground, if you buy the tactical kits available they are supplied with weights and throwing line for installation. The wire can be doglegged.

We do NOT recommend the matching unit is placed at ground level, or the transmission line configured as an inverted “V”.

Always use a minimum of 10-15 mtrs feeder, for frequencies under 7 MHz we recommend 20 mtrs of quality coaxial feeder.
